I'm a Mexican girl formed as an architect who switched years ago to a jeweler. I work as a contemporary jeweler, making different and one of a kind pieces for those who perceive jewelry as art. I love what I do and enjoy to do it with my own hands. Since I have memory, I've always loved jewelry and looked for different and simple pieces.
After working several years as an architect my son was born, he came to radically change my life, including my career. Interestingly during my time off work, when my child has not attended school yet, was that I started in the jewelry. I begin backward, looking forward to working with alternative materials I studied textile jewelry, resin jewelry and then, finally, silver jewelry. For a short time, I combined motherhood with architecture and my jewelry studies until in 2006 I decided to devote myself entirely to jewelry.
However, I have no intention of killing the architect who still lives in me, as such, my work is based on simplicity, inspired by simple forms, geometric or organic.
I like to think of my jewelry as my little projects, my art pieces, small architecture to dress.
My jewelry is completely designed and handmade by me, looking to create exclusive pieces, that is the reason why I develop it in small series or unique pieces. I am interested in the design author, not the massive trade.
By now, I continue studying and testing new materials as part of my research and exploration of design and its many possibilities.
