The moon-shape pendant is inspired by ancient Slavic moon amulet (also know as "lunula"). It is a crescent moon shaped pendant that was worn by girls already in ancient Roman culture, the tradition that was also adopted by the Slavic and Viking people. Girls ideally wore them as an protective amulet, but it also symbolized fertility and prosperity.
Size: The moon amulet is about 2 x 2 cm, the necklace is 45 cm long.
About Us: All our silver products are created in 95-98% Silver which is typical of the Thai Karen hill-tribe artisans, who have been using traditional tools and techniques for centuries.

Our artisans process and ship orders from their country of origin (mostly India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Mexico).
