Handmade Angel Thai Silver and Pearl Hook Earring (E0085)

These angel earrings are handmade by Thai artisans in 98% pure silver and a pearl. The shape is cut from a silver leaf, which is slightly bent backwards; the surface is then treated in order to obtain scratched texture. The earrings are decorated with "Podduang" pattern, unique to Thai Karen hill-tribe people. 
Our products are hand crafted in 98% Silver by Thai Karen hill-tribe artisans. The Karen are a group of ethnic peoples who reside primarily in southern and southeastern Burma and in northern and north-eastern Thailand. Thai and Burmese hill tribes can be traced back to the 12th century when they are said to have originated from Tibet. 
With a higher silver content than sterling silver, Karen silver has a weight, bright satin color and feel, all of its own. Every piece is handmade and individual.

The product comes with traditional Thai packaging (which might differ from the one on the photo, depending on what we currently have in stock) and includes tracking number for safer shipping.
