These exquisite hand-embroidered bags are made by the nomadic Rabaris tribes of Gujarat. With one bag taking up to four or five days to be embroidered, these bags really are a painstaking work of love. And it shows. They are beautiful. The traditional floral motifs on the bags are a feature of the Kutch an Bhuj region of Gujurat. A bag with history, you could say.
Its maybe interesting to know (and a lovely story to tell), that each bag has had a long journey before they reach their final destination. Made by nomadic tribes, the bags often dont reach Qasab, the lead organisation in India, for weeks at a time. There is no set date or quantity so the very fact that this bag is available to you is a feat in itself. Makes it that little bit more special. A treasure.
Available in a variety of colours, this unique and stylish hand-made bag is sure to add the finishing touch to any outfit. All you have to do is choose which one good luck!
