A stunning vibrant red and blue chiffon
scarf. This scarf has been sewn from a vintage pure silk sari to make a

A stunning vibrant red and blue chiffon
scarf. This scarf has been sewn from a vintage pure silk sari to make a
lovely, simple to wear accessory: just wrap it twice or three times
around your neck, or fold in half & slip one end through the other -
a versatile accessory of generous proportions. The natural, breathable
chiffon means it will keep you warm in the winter but won't be too hot
for
the summer. This is a crisp bouncy chiffon, it will soften
a little over time but it will always retain some body.

The size is approx 194 cm x 26 cm, approx 76" x 10".

This
is hand printed vintage fabric. Although
I do my best to ensure that each piece is as close to perfect as
possible.

I endeavour to convey the colors in the fabric as
accurately as possible, however there may be slight discrepancies
between different monitors and screens.

Washing and care: Hand-wash
gently with a mild detergent and line dry, before a careful warm iron.
Use caution with rough fingernails and jewellery, the fabric is very
delicate.

Just for you.....With love!!!

Selling through Discovered creates more income for artisans. They can set the price they want to receive for the products themselves. By cutting out all middlemen, artisans receive at least 20% more for their products. This is what we call fairer trade.
Discovered is dedicated to creating positive impact. Not all artisans work alone. Sometimes they work in groups or collectives, are helped by not for profit organizations or work for social businesses. We select our partners to ensure more artisans have work make at least 10% above average wage.
We are committed to crafts. We encourage artisans to make products using traditional crafts and techniques. Making products mainly by hand or with easy accessible tools or common available machines. We believe this is important to keep alive.
We love handmade. We also feel strongly about preserving the world we live in. That’s why we work with our partners & artisans to stimulate using local materials and natural resources, and paying special attention to packaging & shipping.
