Discovered wants happy customers. Our artisans are providing quality handmade products and we put in our best to get these delivered to you smoothly. We tailored a return policy that assures customer satisfaction, while also fair and reasonable to our artisans.
How do I return an item delivered?
Refunds will be available for up to 60 days from the day you receive your order, based on each case. ALWAYS email us before doing anything on firstname.lastname@example.org. Please mention “Return of item” in the subject line, add a picture of the item, registered mail address, order number and explain your issue. You will receive a response within 24 hours.
Please mention clearly whether your return is in any way a result of an error by Discovered or the artisan and if so, why. Include any proof you may have of this. If the return is the result of an error by Discovered or the artisan, you can exchange or return the item and we will bear the costs. Our claims window is within 14 days after your order is received.
If the return is not the result of an error by Discovered or the artisan, you will be responsible for all shipping costs and other costs associated with returning the purchased item(s). Please send your return using a reliable carrier that offers tracking (such as UPS, FedEx, or Priority Mail). When sending back, we suggest you to insure the package, as you are responsible for the item until it is received back by Discovered or the artisan. Our claims window is within 60 days after your order is received.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you received an item that you’d like to return in good condition, refunds will not be issued if the returned products have been damaged or altered in any way before arriving back to us. These returned items shall be in re-sellable condition. No refunds will be available after the 60-day returns period has expired.
Can I reuse a promotion code?
If the return happened because of an error of Discovered or the artisan, please share your promotion code and we will gladly provide you with a new one for your new purchase. If the return was not a result from an error by Discovered or the artisan, you will not be able to use the code again.
When will I get my refund?
Credit for returned products will be issued within 10 business days of receipt of the returned merchandise to the same payment method originally used to make your order, whenever applicable. Exchanges will be sent on priority within 5 business days. Please note:
- Discovered is not responsible for loss or any costs incurred (including freight, duties and taxes, or import fees) for items returned.
- No refunds or returns on custom made orders.
- Gift cards cannot be returned.
- As a safeguard against potential abuse, Discovered reserves the right to deny a refund to anyone who has made what we determine to be excessive returns.
- Orders cannot be cancelled after they have been shipped.
What happens if I did not receive my order at all?
Make sure to indicate the complete and correct shipping address when you are placing your order. Discovered is not responsible for items that have not been received due to an incorrect address or change of address. If you would like to check the status of your order, click here or contact email@example.com with your order number and email address. We will get back to you within 24 hours.
I received the wrong size!
Note all our items are in US standard sizes. For rings, download our Size Guide PDF. Ping us on Facebook or Instagram, when in doubt. If the artisan sent you a different size than what you have ordered, you can claim for a full refund or the same item in the correct size (upon availability). If the artisan has sent the right size, we can exchange the ring within 60 days after receiving your order.
